As an expert Herbalist Deanne has in depth knowledge of hundreds of different medicinal herbs, including those from Western, Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine.
Herbs can be used to benefit clients of all ages, and for practically any aliments, from acute colds and flu, where Deanne sees astounding results, to chronic health conditions, such as chronic exhaustion, stress and hormonal regulation, menopausal relief, digestion, pain, allergies and much more.
Treatment involves choosing individual herbs and combing them to create an individualised elixir for a person’s particular health presentation. This individual preparation may contain up to six different herbs specifically formulated to assist your health situation. An individual herbal elixir may contain herbs that work on different aspects of a single condition or it may target a few different health concerns within the one mixture.
“Botanical herbs are far more powerful than what most of us would assume; as a therapist who has been in practice using herbal medicine going on 13 years I am still surprised at how affective they can be.”
Herbal Botanicals are designed to work alongside the body’s own natural healing mechanism. Each herb naturally contains varying therapeutic properties which act holistically and synergistically within the herb. The different parts or constituents within the one herb work in such a way that the herb takes into account the necessary affects the body needs in certain disease conditions or imbalances that occur. For example, the herb Andrographis stimulates the immune system to be more active in fighting an infection as well as having antibacterial and antiviral properties and is very effective at fighting infections. Herbs are also synergistic, meaning that the sum total of all the parts of a herb together are more powerful than they are separately.
As part of her extensive training in herbal medicine Deanne has developed a thorough understanding of the therapeutic uses of herbal medicine, which includes knowing where the use of herbs should be avoided, such as in pregnancy, breast feeding or where contraindicated with other medication you may be taking. Deanne has an in depth understanding of the therapeutic uses of herbal medicine. As a client, healing you safely is Deanne’s primary concern.
As a traditional Herbalist Deanne has many herbal liquids available in her clinic dispensary. She chooses herbs that are alcohol free and the most palatable on the market for suitability and ease of use to her clients. Deanne looks forward to sharing the amazing health benefits of herbal medicine with you.
